3. Mold parts processing

Mold parts processing, that is, processing each mold parts according to the design drawings. This is roughly divided into two types, one is ordinary processing, including lathe, milling machines, grinding machines, drilling machines, etc.; The other is special processing, including line -cutting processing, electric spark discharge processing, CNC processing center processing, etc. What kind of processing method is adopted, according to the characteristics, production costs, delivery period, accuracy requirements of the parts to be processed, the better the more precise equipment. In ordinary mold companies, there are usually both processing equipment in the workshop.

1) Ordinary processing

Ordinary processing is ordinary car processing, ordinary milling processing, ordinary grinding beds, platform diamonds, rocker drills, etc. Mold processing companies are generally inseparable from these equipment. They are very fast and convenient for processing for some simple parts.

2) CNC processing

Traditional machinery processing is manual operation of ordinary machine tool operations. During processing, it shakes the metal with a hand -shaking machine tool and measures the accuracy of the product with tools and other tools. Today, this ordinary processing method still plays an important role at the mold processing site. With the rapid development of computer technology, computer control machine tools have been used to operate at the current mold processing site. CNC machine tools can automatically process the products and components according to the procedures of the technicians in advance. This is the "CNC processing" we call. "CNC" is an abbreviation of English Computerized Numerical Control (computer digital control), which includes CNC milling processing, CNC vehicle processing, CNC electro -spark processing, etc. However, for mold processing, CNC processing is generally indexed and milling, such as the CNC processing center, as shown in Figure 1-10.

3) discharge processing

Discharging processing refers to electric spark processing, as shown in Figure 1-11. It uses the pulse discharge between the two electrodes immersed in the working liquid to erode the conductive material, which is referred to as EDM in English. Discharge processing is a typical processing method in mold processing. It is especially suitable for materials and complex shapes that are difficult to cut with ordinary cutting methods. Discharge processing is mainly used for machining molds and parts with complex shapes and cavity; processing various hard and crisp materials, such as hard alloy and quenching steel; And cut thin slices, etc.;
