2.1.2. The wire harness fixing structure is easy to assemble.

Assemblability must be considered when designing the wiring harness fixing method and fixing structure, and it is not possible to add too many processes to the assembly process while pursuing fixing and reliability. Based on the actual design experience, the following precautions are summarized.

1) Try to use a simple fixing method, especially for areas with small spaces, such as the wiring inside the door, the wiring between the body-in-white and the interior, due to the small space, try to use plastic buckles or tapes to fix it.

2) The through-hole rubber sheath should be designed so that it can be completely assembled in the fan hole with an installation force of less than 100 N.

3) For the fixing parts that need to be pressed by fingers, the operating force is 45 N; for the fixing parts that are pressed by hands, the operating force is 75 N.

4) During the design process of the wiring harness fixing structure and related functional boxes, common standard parts should be used as much as possible, and the types of standard parts should be as few as possible, and the use of special tools in assembly and maintenance should be reduced through early design.

5) For the case where the connector or wiring harness fixing structure needs to pass through the cab during assembly, if ordinary hexagon nuts and bolts are used for the fasteners, it is difficult for one person to complete it independently. At this time, welding nuts or self-tapping are generally considered. Nails are fixed.

6) The fixing holes of the wiring harness should be opened in the plane area of the structural part as much as possible. When fixing on a curved surface, it is best to make a small plane on the structural part.

7) When arranging the electrical wiring harness, consider the modular assembly of the large assembly as much as possible to increase the assembly speed of the production line. For example, the transmission wiring harness and the engine wiring harness are assembled to the transmission and the engine body respectively, and then assembled to the chassis as a whole.
