3. Coupling method of mechanical coupling
Generally, the mechanical coupling device follows the principle of conservation of energy, that is, the input power is equal to the output power. Different from the mechanical coupling mechanism can be divided into three types: torque coupling method, speed coupling method, and power coupling method.
(1) Coupling torque. The torque coupling refers to overlapping the input torque of the two power sources, and the coupling output speed is not the speed superposition of the two power sources. The typical gear power coupling structure is shown. The torque of the two power sources can be superimposed on the coupling gear. Due to the constraints of power conservation, the condition of the torque coupling device to achieve torque is that the input speed of the two power sources input a fixed proportional relationship, and cannot change the speed independently.
