(2) Check the wire connection

① Check whether the connection parts of each wire end are correct and reliable.

② The output terminal B of the generator must add a spring cushion to the tight wiring.

③ The generator connected to the plug in, the connection between the socket and the beam plug must be locked, and there must be no loose phenomenon.

(3) Check the noise

When the generator fails (especially mechanical failures), such as bearing damage, shaft bending, etc., an abnormal noise will be emitted when the generator is running. During the inspection, the engine switching is gradually increased to gradually increase the speed of the engine. At the same time, it is not abnormal noise of the generator. If there is abnormal noise, the generator should be removed and the maintenance is decomposed.

(4) Generation of generator voltage testing

① When the engine is stopped and does not use the electrical equipment on the car, the battery voltage is measured. This voltage is called the voltage or the benchmark voltage.

② Start the engine so that the engine speed is kept at 2000R/min. When the electrical equipment is not used on the car, the battery voltage is measured. This voltage is called the air load charging voltage. The air load charging voltage should be higher than the reference voltage, but the gap does not exceed 2V. If the air load charging voltage is lower than the reference voltage, it means that the generator is not generated, and a comprehensive inspection of the generator, regulator and charging system line.

③ When the engine speed is still 2000r/min, the annex of electrical appliances is connected, such as the heater, air conditioning and high beam, etc. When the voltage is measured when the voltage is stable, this voltage is called a load voltage. The load voltage should be at least 0.5V higher than the reference voltage.

④ If there is a problem, check the voltage of the charging line when the charging current is 20A, and connect the voltage meter to the positive electromotor "The system" (B ﹢) wiring column. V; Possess the voltage meter to the housing of the regulator, and connect the generator case on the other end. 0.05V. If the value does not match, the corresponding wiring head and installation rack should be cleaned and fixed.
